Help us to keep badgers a part of the landscape of Gloucestershire.
We hope to be restarting our programme of events in the autumn, but the badgers of Gloucestershire need your help now. Please consider joining our friendly group – whether to just show support or by getting actively involved in whatever way suits you.
We are always keen to hear from people who can volunteer their help. This may be with regularly checking their local setts, sett surveying, rescues, assisting our Field Officer with site visits (gardens, developments and wildlife crime locations), education, fundraising, IT and admin. But you are equally welcome if you just want to meet up with fellow badger enthusiasts or be kept informed via our mailings.
We meet quarterly in the Cirencester area and have our AGM in April. We have had expert speakers give talks on topics such as ecology, rescue and rehabilitation, crime and persecution, and the politics of the cull. Events include site visits to learn about collating evidence of criminal activity, our own fundraising event in Cirencester and a stall at Vale Wildlife Hospital Open Day.
